Super blue blood moon

“Super blue blood moon IS messing with your body – leaving men with weird dreams, women restless and everyone more hungry” so says that pinnacle of journalism, the Daily Mail. Well, it must be true then. The whole world seems to have gone hyper about this triple lunar event. Super because the moon is closest to us when it’s at its fullest (and therefore appears bigger), blue because it’s the second full moon in a calendar month and blood because it’s a lunar eclipse when the earth casts a red shadow on the moon. Each of these is quite a rare happening, all three occurring together is ultra-rare. The last time, in fact, was 1866. Of course, to see the actual lunar eclipse and a blood red moon you need to be in Australia, China or Alaska. So, no weird dreams tonight then.
